Emergency
We understand how important it is for you to have access to high-quality veterinary care whenever you need it, and that is why we are available to you NONSTOP.
We accept patients to the emergency only by prior phone arrangement – please call +420 252 252 111.
We charge an on-call emergency fee of up to CZK 3,000, which is reduced to maximum CZK 2,000 for our regular clients.
After regular opening hours, as well as on weekends and public holidays, we are available for emergency services. The emergency service is intended primarily for urgent cases. During emergency hours, there is always at least one doctor and one nurse on duty, without a receptionist. Because this is a capacity-limited service, we do not schedule appointments for specific times during emergency hours. If your situation is not urgent, please arrange an appointment during regular working hours outside of emergency service time.
If you are coming to us with an urgent case that will require our immediate attention, please always call us in advance at 252 252 111. This way, you can be sure that we are not, for example, in the operating room with another patient and that we will be able to give you our full attention. It also allows our team to better prepare for your arrival, such as preparing the operating room for the specific procedure needed.
During emergency hours, we accept patients without an appointment until 11:30 PM.
From 11:30 PM to 8:30 AM, we accept patients only after prior phone arrangement at 252 252 111 or through the Pet-MEDIC emergency service, available nonstop at 724 184 840.
Please note that during emergency hours (on weekdays from 8:00 PM to 8:30 AM and on weekends and public holidays), an additional emergency fee of CZK 2,000 is charged. For our regular clients, this fee is reduced to CZK 1,500.
If you would like to become our regular client and enjoy the associated benefits, book your animal companion for a comprehensive preventive check-up with us. This way, we will know their health condition in advance, and in case of an emergency, our team will be able to provide help to your animal companion more quickly and effectively.
Due to the increase in cases where new clients had problems with payment for veterinary services provided, we were forced to take a measure introducing an obligation for the new client to make a deposit of at least the emergency surcharge BEFORE treatment/examination. Considering the expected complexity of the care, the client may be asked to make a deposit of up to 50% of the expected final price in advance. We sincerely apologize to all our loyal clients for this measure, unfortunately, real experience with client behavior and the subsequent difficulty in collecting the surcharge leaves us no other option.
Table with the current amount of emergency surcharges, valid from 1. 8. 2026
